Bali

Bali is a destination that’s packed with things to do. From epic surf competitions, beach hopping, and world-famous nightlife, there’s something for everyone here!

DAY ONE: Begin your trip in Uluwatu, a beautiful area in the southern tip of the island that’s famous for its surf competitions, and has an awesome nightlife. Make sure to check out Dreamland Beach, Padang Padang Beach (where Eat, Pray, Love was filmed) and Balangan Beach. You can also try the Kecak Fire Show at Uluwatu Temple for some amazing sunset views!

BEACH HOP: The beaches in Uluwatu are the most iconic, especially Dreamland and Padang Padang. If you don’t want to be surrounded by tourists, there are other options, such as Melasti Beach and Nyang Nyang Beach.

LIVING IN THE HISTORY: From the Paleolithic period to ancient Javanese and Hindu Majapahit civilization, Bali’s history dates back to more than 200,000 years. During this time, the island was inhabited by the Austronesian people of Southeast Asia. They made tools and artefacts from bronze and stone.

CUISINE: The island is known for its delicious cuisine, which is a mix of influences from India, Indonesia and China. Some of the signature dishes include nasi goreng (fried rice), mie goreng (fried noodles) and babi guling (fish cooked in coconut milk).

WATER SPORTS: There’s something for everyone on the water in Bali, from banana boats to jet skiing and parasailing. You can also swim and relax by the beach or have fun in the water parks.
