Bali

Bali is a beautiful island paradise that is home to some of the most stunning beaches, cool hangouts, delicious food and exciting things to do. It’s also a great place to learn about local culture and see traditional villages and temples.

What’s more, it’s one of the most diverse islands in Indonesia, so you’ll never get bored! In addition to the incredible tropical climate, Bali has many natural wonders such as volcanoes, lush terraced rice fields and stunning beaches.

The most popular areas for tourists to stay in Bali include Seminyak, Legian and Nusa Dua. Each of these have their own unique vibe and can be a good base for exploring the rest of the island.

It is important to note that although the majority of tourists will choose to visit Bali during the high season, there are some months that can be a little quieter and more affordable than others. The mid-season months of June, July and August are a particularly good time to enjoy this island.

This is because most shops offer sales and promotions during these months, as well as restaurants are generally less crowded. It’s also a good time to do a range of water sports such as scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing and white water rafting.

It’s also worth knowing that the Balinese are very proud of their temples and there are hundreds to choose from. Each temple is dedicated to a different god or goddess and the most popular ones are those associated with the Trimurti, or divine Hindu trinity. In addition to the statues and paintings, these temples often feature thatched meru towers.
